| ABOUT US | FLEET |
| Atlas of London specialises in furniture delivery and domestic removals. We are based in London and operate primarily in the South East but also offer a nationwide and overseas service. We offer the additional provision of secure storage facilities and packaging materials. |
| Insurance and Quality Assurance |
| Through our membership of the National Guild of Removers and Storers we have comprehensive insurance cover that includes Commercial Combined (Public and Employers’ Liability) Insurance, Fleet Vehicle, Goods in Transit, Removals and Storage Insurance. We obtain feedback on our service by asking customers to complete a Quality Assurance Questionnaire, from which we can target areas for further development. |
| STAFF |
| All our staff wear smart uniforms bearing the Atlas logo and are easily identifiable. The neat presentation of our staff is complemented by their professional conduct and friendly manner. As a medium-sized business we are acutely aware that the conduct and calibre of our staff is essential to our provision of service; we train our staff to the highest degree internally and externally (through the National Guild of Removers and Storers’ comprehensive training schemes). We recruit only through recommendation from trusted sources; we view removals and distribution as a skilled trade and select our staff accordingly. |

| TOMASZ PUPKOWSKI, Foreman |
Tomasz joined us in 2006 with an impressive employment history and list of recommendations within the removals industry. As a result of which, he has risen, in a short time, to being one of our senior foremen. He is an enthusiastic member of staff who shows great leadership qualities. |
| JAMES McQUAID, Foreman |
A relatively new member of our team, James joined us in the autumn of 2007 and has quickly become one of our senior foremen. James has worked in the removals sector for 10 years and has built up an impressive résumé of industry skills. James conducts a number of our quotations and oversees many of our specialist jobs such as grand piano moves and intricate packing work. James also conducts 'in-house training' for our junior staff - passing on valuable advice and tutelage. James's calm manner (especially necessary with two young children) and work ethic make him the ideal foreman to be in charge of your removal! |
| ED CHALLIS, Senior Porter & Driver |
Ed joined us in the summer of 2007 as one of our new drivers. This is Ed's first job in the removals industry and he is proving to be an enthusiastic, polite and quick learner! Ed is an extremely likeable person who has taken to the demands of the job without any difficulties. Now an experienced packer and driver, we are confident it will not be long until Ed will be taking charge of removals in his own right as one of our foremen. Ed also brings to the company good mechanical knowledge and a passion for riding motorbikes; luckily also a passion shared by the boss: 'a summer track day awaits - remember, one of life's most important skills is knowing how and when to let your boss win....!' |
| JORDAN GARRARD, Senior Porter |
Jordan has worked for Atlas for several years and is a lively and committed member of staff. He receives consistently positive feedback from customers and has a particular talent for taking the stress out of the removals process for those around him. He is also a Jamiroquai look-a-like in his spare time. |
| RICKY OWERS, Senior Porter |
Ricky has also worked for Atlas for several years and is a keen and cheerful member of the Atlas crew. He has developed a particular strength in conscientious packing and the care of delicate goods. His stamina at work is a direct result of the fact that, when he is not working, he is lead goal-scorer for his football team. |
| WILL WRIGHT, Senior Porter |
Will is a recent addition to the Atlas team, having finished his ‘A’ levels in 2006. He is a thoughtful and attentive porter who, in a short period of time, has become an indispensable asset to Atlas. His love of Ninjitsu has stood him in good stead for the physical demands of the removals industry. |
