PROFESSIONAL DELIVERIES
Our distribution company is dedicated to meeting the requirements of retailers and their customers within the fine furnishing industry. We undertake deliveries for a variety of furniture retailers, including Ligne Roset, Habitat, Sofa Workshop, Purves & Purves, OKA and the Designers Guild.

Atlas staff are trained to the highest standards, and benefit from our experience of over twenty years in the furniture delivery sector. In order to maintain this excellence, we implement a customer services strategy that puts the needs of you and your clients at the heart of what we do, but don't take our word for it, read some testimonials from our clients.

To provide a complete service, we operate within an extensive framework of skilled contacts to address every eventuality. Artisans such as upholsterers, fitters, carpenters, glaziers, fabric cleaners and hoist deliverers are at hand to ensure satisfaction in every case.



UNIFORMS
All our staff wear smart uniforms bearing the Atlas logo and are easily identifiable. The neat presentation of our staff is complemented by their professional conduct and friendly manner.



COMMUNICATIONS
All Atlas staff are equipped with mobile phones and can be contacted at all times by shops and customers. We will contact your customer 24 hours before delivery to confirm a two hour time slot, and then again on the day of delivery, at least a half-hour before we arrive.



OUT OF HOURS
At Atlas we are aware that our customers have busy lives and cannot always be present during normal working hours. We therefore offer customers the option of arranging deliveries for early morning / evening, during both weekdays and at the weekend (including Sundays).



NATIONWIDE
Although we are based in the South East of England and operate predominantly in this area, we also offer nationwide coverage for delivery and installation. In addition, we are connected to a network of national carriers to ensure the prompt delivery of goods to wider locations.



SITE ASSESSMENTS AND AWKWARD ACCESS
Atlas staff offer shops and their customers the benefit of a preliminary site assessment report prior to purchase, to ensure that furniture can be successfully installed at the customer's premises. Occasionally, furniture is too large to be installed conventionally, due to narrow hallways or tight turns in stairways. We have evolved a number of successful methods for hoisting fine furnishings through windows, over roofs, and across basement wells. All Atlas crews are fully equipped with a range of hand and power tools to enable them to deal with most eventualities, such as the removal of doors and sash windows. Our staff are trained and experienced in these circumstances, so access problems are commonly overcome 'in situ'.


Payment of delivery Charges
Unless you have our written agreement to the contrary you must pay us in cleared funds in advance of the delivery and may not withhold any part of the agreed price.

We reserve the right to terminate the contract and withhold our services if payment is not received before the delivery date.

Methods of Payment
Personal cheque:
At point of booking, or no less than 10 days prior to delivery

Credit / Debit card:      (2% booking fee)         
At point of booking, or no less than 10 days prior to delivery

Bankers Draft /
Building society cheque:
At point of booking or no less than 10 days prior to delivery

Postponements/Cancellations
If you postpone or cancel your contract we may charge you according to how
much notice you provide prior to the agreed delivery date:-

Between: 2 days: 25% of the total delivery charge
  24 hours : 50% of the total delivery charge
  On day of delivery 100% of the total delivery charge

If for whatever reason delivery charges are not presented at the point of delivery in ‘cleared funds’ then the goods will not be delivered until a subsequent delivery date can be arranged at additional cost to you the customer.
