You can't put the square peg in the round hole
But we will get your prized possession to the first floor
Where furniture does not at first appear to fit into a property we can deploy specially trained fitters and crane/hoist operators to facilitate even the most difficult of delivery scenarios. Occasionally, furniture is too large to be installed conventionally, due to narrow hallways or tight turns in stairways. We have evolved a number of successful methods for hoisting fine furnishings through windows (window deliveries), over balconies, and across basement wells.
All Atlas crews are fully equipped with a range of hand and power tools to enable them to deal with most eventualities, such as the removal of doors and sash windows. For particularly awkward scenarios, our upholsterer is able to split large furniture items down into smaller parts and re-upholster them in order to facilitate access. Our staff are trained and experienced in these various circumstances, so access problems are commonly overcome 'in situ', as our videos below show.
Call us for advice on your access requirements.
We plan the appropriate access plan and arrange accordingly.
I wanted to take the time to say a very big thank you to the team who came today to help me get my couch in to my apartment. From the moment they arrived they were cheerful, enthusiastic and gave me confidence that the job wouldn't be a problem. I had been really stressing out about this situation but your team put us entirely at ease.
Obviously your company is experienced in problems like this but I have to mention Peter, who's expertise and care was a credit to your company. It is quite funny because my wife is Polish and when this problem arose we both said that we needed a few practical Polish guys to come and sort this job out . . and who should arrive at our doorstep!
Once again a big thank you from us to the whole team and it will be a pleasure to recommend your company to family and friends in the future.
